User Inputs
A vector is a line representing a distance between two points e.g. A to B. A bearing is the distance calculated from two other vector lines drawn graphically on a scale of x horizontal and y vertical coordinates. The resulting distance C to A can also be found through the use of simple matrices. The top row representing the x distances and the bottom row the y distances. TEST YOUR UNDERSTANDING: From a start location vectors provide both direction and distance. Using a traditional map apply this topic to calculate the shortest direct route to a third location when you know the other two.
